High temperatures will be even warmer Wednesday and Thursday; well into the 80s, near 90 for southern Minnesota. Showers and cooler weather move in Friday.
Muggy air, heat continue through Thursday
Not only do we have summer-like temperatures, but we have more summer-like muggy air that will continue around the area.
High temperatures Wednesday will be a bit warmer in the mid to upper 80s. Some places in southwest Minnesota will be near 90. Thursday should be the hottest day with many spots in the low 90s across southern Minnesota.
Friday showers bring cooler weather
A very slow moving cool front will bring rain in its wake. It could be a soaking rain for many places. Cooler temperatures will also move in with highs largely in the 60s and low 70s this weekend.
