Thursday will be warm and windy with scattered showers and thunder in northern and western Minnesota. Scattered showers will expand across much of Minnesota into Friday.
Warm, windy, wet for parts of Minnesota
Expect a windy but warm day Thursday. South winds will blow at 10-25 mph.

High temperatures will be in the mid-80s south to around 70 north. An area of low pressure just to the west of Minnesota will create scattered showers as well for west central and northern Minnesota.

Showers expand with another chance Saturday night
It will be continued warm Friday into the weekend but also muggy. Highs will be in the 70s and 80s with dew points increasing into the sticky 60s. The area of scattered showers and some thunder will expand Thursday night into Friday and Friday night to include pretty much all of Minnesota.

As the moisture surges north, we’ll see another round of showers and thunder Saturday night for much of the state making for rain totals over the next 120 hours in the 2- to 4-inch range north with up to 1 inch possible in the south.
