Many areas will see frost Monday and Tuesday nights
Monday will be a cool, windy day with highs ranging from just 50 in northeast Minnesota to the mid-60s southwest. We’ll see a mix of clouds and sun with frost possible for parts of Minnesota Monday and Tuesday nights.
Cool and windy Monday
Another latest blast of cool air is settling in across Minnesota creating another day of wind. Northwest winds will blow at 10-25 mph. Highs Monday will range from the mid-60s in southwest Minnesota to only around 50 for parts of the Iron Range.
Frosty nights head
The cool air and clear skies will lead to some very chilly nights with many parts of Minnesota seeing their first frosts. Monday night will see frost across most of the northern half of Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.
Tuesday night will be even colder.
A warm-up is on the way late in the week as we transition to October. Southern Minnesota should see highs in the 70s once again by Friday.
