Cool Tuesday, frost advisories and freeze warnings for some
A cool, breezy Tuesday with frost overnight possible
A cool Tuesday with high temperatures mainly in just the 50s. Parts of southwest Minnesota will still manage a 60-degree high. Winds will still be breezy at 10-15 mph but less blustery than Monday. Many areas will see frost Tuesday night with a hard freeze in parts of northeast Minnesota.
Chilly Tuesday and breezy; frost overnight for many
Tuesday will be chilly with highs primarily in the 50s for most of the state. Southwest Minnesota will see some low 60s.
Winds will be breezy but not as blustery as Monday. Northwest winds at 10-15 mph will lighten up by evening as a cold area of high pressure sits over Minnesota Tuesday night setting us up for a very chilly night. Many areas will see their first frost (except the Twin Cities metro area). Northeast Minnesota will see a hard freeze with many spots dropping into the 20s.
Big late week warm-up
Highs will be back in the upper 60s, which is near normal Thursday across southern Minnesota with a string of 70s Friday into the weekend, which is already the start of October.
We’ll continue with abundant sunshine and dry weather also.
