Friday will be colder with northwest winds at 10-20 mph creating single digit wind chills. Highs will only be in the teens to low 20s. We’ll see another round of snow showers Friday night with a clipper bringing even colder air for the first half of the weekend.
Cold, more light snow, then even colder
Friday is already colder and will remain chilly through the day. High temperatures will only be in the teens to low 20s.

Winds will blow at 10-20 mph from the northwest keeping wind chills in the single digits through the day.

A clipper system will drop out of Canada Friday night bringing more snow showers. Northern Minnesota could see 1 to 2, even isolated 3 inches while southern Minnesota will see under an inch.

Saturday will be even colder with highs mainly in the teens and wind chills largely subzero most of the day.

The temperatures bottom out Sunday with our first single digits and even some subzero readings in northern Minnesota early Sunday morning. We’ll also see some sunshine finally however and rebound quickly to near 30 in southern Minnesota Sunday afternoon with 20s north.
