Colder through Wednesday; snow north Tuesday
Cooler than normal early this week, mild by the end of the week
Monday night will bring colder temperatures ranging from the single digits south to subzero readings north. Tuesday will be below normal in the teens and 20s with snow showers developing for northern Minnesota.
Another round of snow showers moves through Wednesday.
Colder to start the week, snow shower chances
Arctic air won’t be blasting through Minnesota but the edges of it will get very close to Minnesota making for a cooler few days for the first half of this week.
Monday night will bring temperatures in the single digits south and subzero readings north. Tuesday will see a contrast between 20s south and just low teens, even single digits for highs to the north.

Snow showers will develop across the northern half of Minnesota Tuesday and Wednesday.
A swath of 1 to 2 inches of snow is possible across northern Minnesota Tuesday with another round of similar accumulation possible Wednesday.
Milder end of the week
The chunk of cold air sitting just to our north centered around Hudson Bay will retreat closer to the North Pole again allowing milder air to move back in later this week.
Highs by Friday will be back in the 30s for much of southern Minnesota.
Some models even try to push us near 40 degrees over the upcoming weekend.
