Big temperature contrast and snow showers north
Snow showers will be pushing across northern Minnesota Tuesday. This is the first of two quick clippers riding along the southern edge of some cold air in Canada.
Snowfall amounts will be generally in the 1 to 2-inch range with just a dusting in central and southern Minnesota.
High temperatures will really vary from southeastern Minnesota, in the upper 20s, to northwest Minnesota where it will remain in the single digits only.
Another quick shot of light snow moves through Wednesday, again in mainly northern Minnesota. The colder air retreats back north allowing milder air to move back in by the end of the week. 30s return to southern Minnesota for a stretch.
