New St. Paul gallery for Asian American artists spotlights Burmese art

Lead curator Saw Kennedy poses next to one of his charcoal paintings at the Xia Gallery & Cafe in St. Paul on Dec. 9. He is the lead organizer for a group of Myanmar artists called U&I, which is based in Indiana and makes up half of the artists showcased in the exhibit.
