Cooler and drier air has settled in for a couple of days. Highs will be in the 20s and teens Thursday and Friday with peeks of sunshine and healthy air quality. Temperatures warm again by the weekend.
Cooler, breezy Thursday and Friday
It took a shift in the winds, quite literally, but air quality has drastically improved. The price is some cooler air too. High temperatures will be closer to normal, in the 20s and teens primarily Thursday. It will also be a bit breezy from the northwest.

We should see some peeks of sun and a chilly overnight Thursday night. Lows will drop into the single digits primarily.

Friday will see highs again in the 20s and teens with partly cloudy skies.
Mild air returns for the weekend
The “cool spell” won’t last long. Milder air moves into southern Minnesota Saturday. Highs will return to the 30s.

Sunday could see highs reach near 40 in southern Minnesota but clouds will increase once again. Sunday night into Monday could see some rain and snow showers in southern Minnesota also as we get clipped by a potential storm system.
