A seasonably cool Friday and reasonably bright
We have another cool day Friday but the high temperatures will be right near normal, ranging from the teens to low 20s. We’ll also have some sun breaking out in most areas.

Winds will be light from the northwest, coming from the south by later in the day already as milder air becomes poised to move back into Minnesota for the weekend.
Milder air and a couple systems to track next week
The warmer air is back for the weekend already. Nearly statewide will be in the 30s Saturday. Saturday will also yield more sunshine.

Clouds race back in Sunday, but we could be near 40 in southern Minnesota.

Next week becomes interesting as we watch a storm system brush southeastern Minnesota Monday with some rain and snow showers, then a larger storm Thursday could bring significant snow to somewhere in the upper Midwest.

All the while, temperatures remain above normal, primarily in the 20s and 30s.
