First of two clippers brings light snow Wednesday
Light snow showers develop Wednesday with the first of two clippers for the week.

Accumulations will not be significant, but we’ll see a coating to a couple of inches for parts of northern Minnesota.

A second clipper comes through Minnesota Friday bringing more light snow showers.
Much colder this weekend
Behind the Friday snow showers will come the coldest air in over a month. Arctic air that’s been bottled up on the other side of the hemisphere will finally return to Minnesota. High temperatures will fall into the single digits and even below zero for northern Minnesota Saturday and Sunday. Overnight lows will plunge below zero statewide and for the first time this month in the Twin Cities.
