Frigid start to the week with temperatures trending upward
Below normal temperatures for a few more days
Wind chill advisories and warnings are in effect through most of the morning or day Monday across Minnesota. Wind chills will range from 20 to 40 below zero early Monday. High temperatures will be barely above zero south and subzero north.
Bitter cold beginning of the week
It’s another bitterly cold morning early Monday. All of Minnesota has either a wind chill advisory or wind chill warning through most of the morning if not longer (northwest Minnesota). We’ll see high temperatures barely climb above zero in southern Minnesota while most of central and northern Minnesota remains subzero.
Wind chills range from 20 to 40 below zero early Monday and will improve slightly for the afternoon.
Temperatures Monday night will drop back below zero statewide.
Dry with a warming trend
It will be remarkably quiet this week with just a few light snow showers late Tuesday into early Wednesday across portions of northern Minnesota.
Temperatures are back to normal by the weekend into early next week. We’ll see widespread 20s by Saturday.
