Very mild Wednesday with more sun
Wednesday will be even a bit warmer than the last couple days with high temperatures approaching 40 for some in southeast Minnesota. We’ll have more sunshine also, soak it up, the clouds roll back in for Thursday.

Temperatures will be 10 to 20 degrees warmer than normal Wednesday afternoon.

Dueling systems create snow showers Thursday then briefly cooler
We have a clipper system and cold front moving in from the northwest at the same time a larger storm moves through Iowa, Illinois and southern Wisconsin, clipping southeastern Minnesota Thursday.

Most of Minnesota will see scattered snow showers with a coating of accumulation possible but portions of southeast Minnesota could see more accumulation.

Behind these systems Thursday the temps briefly dip Friday with highs in the 20s.

By the weekend much of Minnesota will be back above freezing with even milder readings possible into early next week.
