Say goodbye to the cold temperatures. Friday begins the warming trend with highs near 50 in southern Minnesota. We’ll have partly cloudy skies with a few overnight showers possible. Next week brings highs in the 60s and 70s.
Warming up, a couple weekend rain chances
After a cold start for northern Minnesota, we’ll be warming up Friday. Highs will be in the low 50s in southern Minnesota to just 30s north. We should see partly cloudy skies through the day. The first of two-weekend disturbances will bring a few rain showers across the region overnight Friday night.

Temperatures will be warming up Saturday even more with clouds moving back out. Highs will be in the low 60s south to 40s north.

Sunday will see similar temperatures south but warmer conditions, with more widespread 50s across northern Minnesota.

The second disturbance will bring a few clouds and a few showers Sunday as well.

High temperatures will continue to warm up into next week with the first 70s coming to southern Minnesota Tuesday and Wednesday.
