Warmer Wednesday and Thursday; showers develop late Wednesday into the overnight

Temperatures will be warmer Wednesday with more sun through the morning. Clouds will increase through the afternoon as showers make their way into northern Minnesota late and spread southeast into Wednesday night.

Partly cloudy, warmer Wednesday with showers late

We will get ever closer to normal high temperatures Wednesday afternoon Most of the state will be just a few degrees below normal. Northwest Minnesota will be cooler as clouds will arrive their sooner. Highs will range from the 40s in northwest Minnesota and the North Shore to 50s elsewhere with even some 60 degree readings in southwest Minnesota.

Clouds increase Wednesday afternoon with showers pushing into northwest Minnesota by the late afternoon and evening spreading east across northern Minnesota. We’ll see rain turn to snow showers in the Arrowhead with a few light rain showers late in the night moving across central and southern Minnesota.

Above normal Thursday ahead of more rain showers

Thursday will bring even warmer temperatures with a mix of clouds and sunshine. Highs will range from well into the 60s across southern Minnesota to 50s north.

A frontal boundary will stall out across central Minnesota and be the focus for a few spotty rain showers. We’ll see scattered showers Thursday night into Friday. Occasional shower chances and clouds will set in Friday into early next week as another slow moving low pushes through the region.
