Warm Thursday with light winds
Temperatures increase even more on Thursday. Winds will continue to be light and we’ll have quite a bit of sunshine through partly cloudy skies. Highs will warm well into the 70s across southern Minnesota with 60s north and the North Shore continuing to be cooler, mainly in the 40s and low 50s.

More unsettled Friday into the weekend
A few ripples or small waves, if you will, begin to break through our upper level ridge dominating the weather across the central United States. This will lead to a few different rain chances that will be mainly hit and miss in nature.

If you’re making weekend plans, no day looks like a total washout but be aware we’ll have more clouds around and at least the chance of some occasional showers moving through. Friday night looks to have the better chance of scattered showers for southern Minnesota while northern and western Minnesota will have the bulk of scattered showers Saturday.
We’ll remain relatively mild though too with highs in the 60s and low 70s for most into early next week.
