Periodic rain, thunder chances; temps above normal

We have a summerlike pattern in place this week with warm temperatures but also occasionally unstable conditions. Isolated showers and thunder will be possible especially late afternoon and evening with better chances late in the week.

Pop-up showers, some thunder possible

Morning showers and some thunder will linger across northeastern Minnesota along with dense fog near Lake Superior. Parts of northern Minnesota will see much more cloud cover.

Pop-up showers and thunderstorms will be possible late Monday afternoon into evening with some daytime heating.

High temperatures Monday will be in the low 70s across southern Minnesota with more sunshine while the clouds will keep things cooler north, mostly in the 50s.

Warmer temps; more rain becoming likely

Rain chances for the early and middle part of this week will be mainly in the isolated to spotty category. Rain chances increase Thursday into Friday and Saturday and will become more scattered especially in western and northern Minnesota by mid to late week.

High temperatures will be near 80 in southern Minnesota by mid to late week as well.
