Expect smoky skies yet on Wednesday though not as thick as yesterday. Most of Wednesday will be dry with a few more clouds. Showers will move into northwest Minnesota late and track south and east Thursday.
More smoke, warm and dry Wednesday
Wednesday will be cooler but still warm with most places back in the 70s. Western Minnesota will still see low 80s while the North Shore will be cooler, in the 50s. These readings will still be above normal.

Smoke will still be floating around our skies Wednesday and probably on and off through the weekend. Models show Saturday being our clearest day. This forecast model goes through 7 a.m. Sunday:

Showers and cooler Thursday into Friday
We’ll start to see a few showers already in northwest Minnesota by Wednesday evening and that chance will spread south and east into Thursday and even linger into northern Minnesota Friday.

Highs Friday still look cooler, in the 60s but the weekend looks great. Sunshine and warmth are back for Saturday and Sunday. Both days should be in the upper 60s to 70s.
