A clipper system and cold front is bringing scattered showers Thursday. Temperatures will be cooler, especially Friday but sunshine and beautiful weather return for the weekend. Air quality will be diminished Thursday for many areas also.
Lower air quality and scattered showers Thursday
Scattered showers will move across Minnesota Thursday along a cool front and associated with a clipper system.
In addition to the rain showers, the system is bringing more smoke with reduced air quality. Air is forecast to be unhealthy in northwest and west central Minnesota.
Cooler Friday then beautiful for the weekend
Friday will be cooler with some lingering showers in northeast Minnesota. Highs will mainly be in the 60s across the state.
Sunshine and dry weather come back for the weekend with highs mainly in the upper 60s and 70s across the state.
