Sunday was sunny and breezy, with comfortable temperatures and dew points.
There were plenty of windsurfers out on Bde Maka Ska in Minneapolis Sunday afternoon, and there were a lot of people on the walking and biking paths that circle the lake.
The Sunday high temperature at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport was 71 degrees. That was 7 degrees shy of the average June 11 Twin Cities high temp, but it felt great to me. Folks who like much warmer weather will enjoy our Tuesday forecast.

Monday highs will be in the upper 70s to around 80 in much of Minnesota and western Wisconsin:

Temps will be a bit cooler near Lake Superior.
Tuesday highs reach the mid to upper 80s in many locations:
Dew points will rise into the 50s from Tuesday into Wednesday and Thursday, so it’ll feel summery.
Twin Cities metro area high temps are projected to reach the upper 80s on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, followed by lower 80s Friday. It looks like metro area highs will stay in the 80s next Saturday and Sunday.
The NWS Climate Prediction Center shows a tendency for above-normal temps in Minnesota for the following week:
Dry in most areas on Monday
Most of Minnesota will have a dry Monday, but there could be a stray shower in far southeastern Minnesota by Monday evening. There’s a better chance of showers in portions of Wisconsin Monday afternoon and evening.
NOAA’s High Resolution Rapid Refresh (HRRR) forecast model shows the potential rain pattern from 4 a.m. Monday to 11 p.m. Monday:

Saturday rain recap
Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport tallied just six-hundredths of an inch of rain on Saturday. Holman Field Airport in St Paul reported 42/100ths of an inch. I had 1.62 inches of rain in St. Paul Saturday afternoon. Radar estimates were even higher than that in very small portions of southeastern Ramsey County, northeastern Dakota County and southwestern Washington County:
