Cooler air moves across the state Friday for the weekend. Isolated thunder is still possible. The weekend will be comfortable before things heat up again some next week.
Cooler air moves through for the weekend
Cooler air is slowly progressing across Minnesota Friday. Northern Minnesota will be comfortable with highs in the 70s and dew points in the 50s. Southern Minnesota will still be pretty warm.
Dew points by Friday afternoon will be comfortable north but still muggy south.
An isolated thundershower is possible in southern Minnesota Friday afternoon and evening.
By Saturday it will be comfortable statewide with seasonable to slightly above normal temperatures.
Dew points by Saturday afternoon will be considerably more comfortable for most of the state, mainly in the 50s with some low 60s south still.
Next week could bring 90 degree temperatures again by midweek.
