Thursday will be warm in southern Minnesota while northern Minnesota cools off. Scattered storms will be possible late Thursday into early Friday with another chance of rain Sunday.
Somewhat active pattern continues with cooler temps this weekend
We’ll have another warm day in southern Minnesota with highs mainly in the 80s, but northern Minnesota will see things cool off. Highs will be just in the low 70s in the northeast.

The next chance of showers and thunderstorms arrives late in the day in western Minnesota. That activity will then spread east overnight into early Friday.

Some of the storms could be severe initially in western Minnesota late Thursday.

Friday and Saturday will see even cooler temps north — mainly in the 60s and 70s — while southern Minnesota will remain in the 80s. Sunday will bring another system with afternoon rain potential and cooler temps.
