Lingering showers and cool Monday; sun returns Tuesday
Look for scattered lingering showers into the morning and even part of the afternoon in southern and southeast Minnesota Monday.

Clouds and showers will keep temperatures cooler, especially in southern Minnesota. Northwest Minnesota will be warmer with a little more sun in the afternoon.

Tuesday will bring a return to sunshine and seasonable temps in the low 80s south to low 70s north.

We’ll be briefly warmer Wednesday with upper 80s in southern Minnesota and potentially even a 90 or two. A cool front will bring the next chance of a few showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon for northern Minnesota and mainly overnight Wednesday night for southern Minnesota. This will be followed by a slight and temporary drop in temps for Thursday.
