Friday will still be warm and muggy across southern Minnesota with a few isolated thunderstorms possible across the state. The weekend brings cooler, drier air.

Friday will still be warm across southern Minnesota with highs in the 80s and muggy dew points persisting. Temperatures will still be a few degrees above normal.

A disturbance that is bringing a few showers and thunderstorms through the state will also bring in some cooler air behind it.

Temperatures Saturday will drop into the 70s statewide and dew points will be much lower, in the 50s. The water content in the air will be less than half what it was on Tuesday and Wednesday. We’ll also have abundant sunshine.

Sunday will be another pleasant day with more sunshine. Showers will again be possible Sunday night into early Monday. Temperatures should remain near normal into the middle of next week.
