Warmer with isolated thunder Monday
Temperatures will climb back to above normal readings Monday, in the low to mid-80s across southern Minnesota, after a cooler weekend.

There will be one or two isolated showers or a thunderstorm late in the afternoon/evening across mostly eastern Minnesota into western Wisconsin associated with a minor upper level disturbance.

It will also be a bit more muggy temporarily as dew points ‘pool’ into the 60s ahead of the disturbance.

Heating up later this week again
By the end of the week the heat is potentially back. Highs will again be in the upper 80s with even low 90s possible this weekend into early next week. There will be little to no rainfall for much of Minnesota allowing soils to further dry.
