Wednesday will see highs mainly in the 70s and low 80s. Thursday becomes windier as warmer air returns ahead of a hot weekend.
Pleasant Wednesday before the heat
After a cool morning in the 50s and 40s, Wednesday will see seasonable temperatures in the 70s to low 80s for highs.
Air quality will remain a lingering issue in some locations due to wildfire smoke, especially in western Minnesota.

Winds increase Thursday as warmer air returns to the region. Winds will be from the south at 15-25 mph with gusts as high as 40 mph in western Minnesota.
Temperatures will be well into the 80s Thursday and Friday with some low 90s popping up in west central Minnesota Friday afternoon. Southern Minnesota will then see a string of 90s into early next week.
