Friday will finally bring some sun to eastern Minnesota and most will be warmer too. We have the chance of some showers Saturday into Sunday.
Brighter and warmer Friday
We’ll finally see sunshine in eastern Minnesota where we were locked into the clouds for two days. There will likely be some lingering patchy clouds in the Arrowhead region.

High temperatures will be warmer, mostly in the 70s ranging from the low 70s in the northeast to upper 70s in the Twin Cities and even low to mid-80s in west central Minnesota.

Saturday will also be warm in southern Minnesota with highs near 80 but northern Minnesota will already be cooler as a cool front slides south.
Spotty weekend showers
The cool front will touch off some spotty showers and thunder in western Minnesota Saturday morning. The chance spreads east late in the day and could linger some into Sunday.

Another round of cooler air slides in for Sunday into early next week with highs in the 60s north to low 70s south.
