Another summerlike day is on the way Wednesday with highs in the 80s south and 70s north. A storm system still looks to bring rainfall for the weekend.
More July temperatures Wednesday with increasing odds of weekend rain
Look for another very warm day Wednesday with much of southern Minnesota seeing highs in the 80s again.

We’ll start to see some pockets of instability with an isolated shower or thunderstorm late Wednesday, especially Wednesday night to the north and northwest.

There is an air quality alert for northwest Minnesota through 11 p.m. Thursday due to wildfire smoke.

Thursday will likely yield one more day in the 80s for southern Minnesota with increasing chances of at least some spotty showers in northwest Minnesota.

The better chance of rainfall comes this weekend as a slow moving storm system brings potentially several rounds of showers through the region. It could add up to a significant, widespread rainfall.
