Summer temperatures continue Thursday with highs in the low 80s. Friday will still be warm, but a slow moving system brings occasional rain showers Saturday into early next week.

Thursday will likely be the last day in the 80s in our latest stretch of very warm weather.

Some stray showers are possible mainly in northern and northwest Minnesota Thursday, well ahead of the main weekend storm system.

Several rounds of potential rain showers develop Friday night into Tuesday with the heaviest rain looking likely in western Minnesota and the Dakotas.

Expect a stretch of cloudy days with occasional rain showers. Temperatures will also cool back down to normal.
