Cold, windy with occasional showers Friday; brighter weekend
It’s the coldest morning in the Twin Cities so far this season and only our second time below 50 degrees, despite the normal low being 45 degrees. Expect occasional spotty rain showers and lots of clouds will rotate around an upper level low swinging through the region Friday and bringing chilly air.

High temperatures Friday will be below normal for a change, ranging from the low 50s south to the 40s north.

Saturday will still be chilly, but with more sunshine and lighter winds, making it feel better.

Sunday will be even brighter with temperatures warming up a little more, mainly into the 50s statewide. We remain cooler than normal slightly into next week with lots of sunshine.
