Bright sunshine Monday and clear skies overnight will lead to frosty conditions for many areas again. Temperatures will remain below normal with late week rain possible.
Cool Monday and frosty night potentially
Temperatures will be cool Monday, in the 40s and 50s, several degrees to as much as 10 degrees below normal. Look for plenty of sun and clear skies for most.

Monday night will bring the potential for more frost outside the Twin Cities area. The urban core of the Twin Cities will likely see lows in the mid to upper 30s, but outer suburbs will likely be in the mid 30s and have at least patchy areas of frost.

Below normal temperatures and rain potential
Overall temperatures will remain below normal through the week with highs mainly in the 50s south to just around 50 in northern Minnesota. These are below the normal highs which range from the low 60s in southern Minnesota to mid 50s north.

A large storm system is taking shape for late in the week. Rain develops late Thursday into Friday. There’s the potential for significant rainfall for southern Minnesota though variability remains in the track of the system.
