Cool, bright Tuesday with evening frost possible; rain late Thursday

Tuesday will again be seasonably cool with sunshine for most of central and southern Minnesota. Northeastern Minnesota will see more clouds. Rain develops late Thursday into Friday.

High temperatures Tuesday afternoon will range from the 40s in northeastern Minnesota to near 60 degrees in southwestern Minnesota.

Northeastern Minnesota will see more clouds and even a few light showers as an upper level low retrogrades, or moves west across southeastern Canada. Central and southern Minnesota will see sunshine.

With clear skies, southern Minnesota (outside of the Twin Cities area) will see frost potential Tuesday night. Northeastern Minnesota, under cloud cover, will be warmer.

Rain develops late Thursday into Friday

A large storm system is developing to the west and will increase cloud cover across Minnesota Wednesday night into Thursday with rain showers developing late Thursday across central Minnesota. Friday is looking like a soggy day for much of central and southern Minnesota.
