Wednesday will yield more sun for central Minnesota ahead of a developing storm system that will bring rain late Thursday into Friday. Significant rainfall is possible Friday.
Increasing clouds ahead of developing rain Thursday into Friday
Wednesday will be another dry day with clouds in northeast Minnesota but a fair amount of sun for central and southern Minnesota. High temperatures will range form the 40s in the northeast to the low 60s south.

Enjoy that sunshine because clouds increase Wednesday night into Thursday and we’ll have mostly cloudy skies through the upcoming weekend. Showers develop south and west Thursday and will fill in and move north and east into Thursday night and Friday.

Significant rainfall is likely for much of central and southern Minnesota with one to three inches, or even more in some places.
