The Sunday high temperature was 57 degrees at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. That was just two degrees shy of the average Oct. 15 Twin Cities high temp.
Much of Minnesota saw Sunday highs in the 50s. Some spots reached the lower 60s, including Roseau, Brainerd, International Falls, Hibbing, Duluth and Hinckley.
Temperature trends
Low temps late Sunday night/early Monday morning will be mainly in the 30s across Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Downtown areas of Minneapolis and St. Paul could dip close to 40 degrees, with mainly 30s elsewhere in the metro area.
Monday high temps will be mainly in the 50s in Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Metro area highs will be in the mid to upper 50s.

Tuesday highs could creep into the lower 60s in much of Minnesota, with 50s in northeastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin:

Wednesday high temps are expected to be in the lower 60s across roughly the southern half of Minnesota, with 50s to the north:

Twin Cities metro area highs are projected to be in the upper 50s Thursday and Friday.
Near-normal highs are expected next weekend and there aren’t any signs of an extended cool stretch in the next two weeks. The NWS Climate Prediction Center shows a slight tendency for above-normal temps in the southeastern half of Minnesota from Oct. 23 through Oct. 29:

Rain chances
Monday plus the daylight hours of Tuesday look rain-free across most of Minnesota and western Wisconsin. A chance of scattered showers returns late Tuesday night and patchy showers are possible Wednesday and Wednesday night. Some spots could also see a stray shower Thursday morning.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s North American Mesoscale forecast model shows the potential rain pattern from 7 p.m. Tuesday to 10 p.m. Wednesday:

Pay more attention to the patchy nature of the rain than the exact location of the rain at any point in time.

Portions of northern Minnesota are past peak for fall colors, but beautiful fall colors are still on display across much of Minnesota.
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources fall color report for Minnesota State Parks and Trails looks like this:

When you look at the fall color map, keep in mind that all deciduous trees are included, not just maples.
