Tuesday will be a nice day with increasing high clouds. High temperatures will be above normal. A clipper system will bring potential rain showers Tuesday night into Wednesday night.
A nice Tuesday
Look for a nice Tuesday with above-normal high temperatures. Southern Minnesota will see highs into the 60s while northeastern Minnesota will be a bit cooler, in the 50s.

High clouds will move into the region ahead of a clipper system, filtering the sun out at times.

Next chance of showers
A clipper system will drop into Minnesota Tuesday night bringing showers to northwestern Minnesota by Tuesday evening and spreading across northern Minnesota Tuesday night.
Those spotty showers will spread south and east into Wednesday and Wednesday night with a few lingering showers early Thursday in the northeast.

Rainfall amounts will be generally fairly light compared to recent rainfall events thanks to a relatively dry air mass in place over the region.

Behind the system, temperatures will be slightly cooler with another system affecting mostly northeastern Minnesota Friday with some showers. Overall temperatures and precipitation are forecast to be above normal in the six to 10-day outlook:
