Disturbance departs Wednesday; cooler and windy Thursday
We’ll see lingering rain and snow showers for the North Shore and portions of northern Minnesota Wednesday. A few more snow showers will be possible north later in the day.

High temperatures will be relatively mild still south with low 50s while northern Minnesota will be in the upper 30s to low 40s.

The winds will howl Thursday as cooler air moves in behind the departing disturbance. Winds will be 15 to 30 mph from the west with gusts as high as 35 to 40 mph.

It will be cooler also Thursday into Saturday with highs mainly in the low to mid 40s south to low to mid 30s north. We should see sunshine break back out as well across central and southern Minnesota Thursday. Warmer air is back Sunday into next week.
