A weak cold front is sweeping through southeast Minnesota, pulling in slightly cooler air today and increasing wind speeds. Temperatures will still be near or above normal into the weekend.

A cold front continues to push south and east through southeastern Minnesota. In its wake, slightly cooler air is settling in. Highs will be cooler than yesterday, but still near or above normal in the 30s mostly to near 40 for some in southern Minnesota.

Wind speeds will also be increasing. Northwest winds at 10-15 mph will blow through the midday and afternoon.

We should continue the stretch of sunshine Thursday into Friday. Expect scattered clouds, especially north.

A broad area of low pressure will create precipitation across much of the central United States this weekend with parts of Minnesota receiving snow showers late Saturday into Sunday. Uncertainty exists still on track and amounts.
