Wednesday will be much warmer with a mix of clouds and sun. Highs will be in the 40s and 30s. Thursday will bring 50s to southern Minnesota. A clipper system will bring colder air for the weekend.
Considerably warmer Wednesday through Friday, then cooler
Wednesday begins a streak of very mild December days. Highs will be in the 40s in southern Minnesota with some low 50s in southwest Minnesota.
Thursday will be warmer still with widespread 50s in southern Minnesota. Some spots could reach 60 in southwest Minnesota.
Friday will again be a mild day, but a clipper system will bring increased cloud cover, rain and snow showers to northern Minnesota.
Colder temps are back for the weekend in the wake of Friday’s clipper system, but it will be more seasonable rather than frigid. Highs will be in the 30s south to 20s north.
