Temperatures will be more seasonable Monday and Tuesday before a prolonged stretch of very mild weather. Precipitation chances will mainly be limited to northern Minnesota.

Monday will be warmer than Sunday with highs in the 30s in southern Minnesota and 20s north. Areas of fog in the morning should burn off as southwest winds increase to 10-20 mph. Low clouds will hang on to much of northern and eastern Minnesota most of the day. 

While it might still feel cool, these readings remain a few degrees above normal. 

Another cold front is moving across Minnesota late Monday and that will drop temperatures briefly Monday night into Tuesday. It will also produce some light snow showers for northeastern Minnesota.

Any snowfall will be generally light and under 1 inch for those spots that see snow showers.

Overnight temperatures Monday night will fall into the 20s, teens and single digits even in northwestern Minnesota. 

Highs Tuesday will be in just the teens in northern Minnesota to 20s south. 

After the brief chill Tuesday, more anomalous warmth is heading into the region and it’s sticking around into the weekend. 

The warmest high temperatures look to be Thursday when they’ll reach the upper 40s in southern Minnesota.
