It’s a colder morning Tuesday with northwest winds making for subzero and single-digit wind chills. Tuesday will actually be closer to normal before we see another big warm up.

Chilly Tuesday followed by a string of more mild days 

It’s a frigid start to the day Tuesday. We’re not used to near normal temperatures. Wind chills range from subzero north to single digits in southern Minnesota. By midday those wind chills should recover some to mainly single digits north to teens south. Northwest winds will continue to blow Tuesday, making it feel colder.

Highs Tuesday will be in the upper 20s south to teens north, close to normal highs actually. We should see bright sunshine. Northeast Minnesota will see some lingering low clouds through the morning. 

It’ll be another cold night Tuesday night before warmer air moves in Wednesday. Lows will fall into the teens and single digits again.

Wednesday will bring above-normal temperatures again with sunshine. Highs will be mostly in the 30s and 20s.

It’ll be even warmer Thursday into the weekend with highs mainly in the 40s south to 30s north. A minor disturbance could bring rain and snow showers Friday, mostly to central and northern Minnesota.
