Temperatures are trending back up for the first half of this week. We’ll also have little if any moisture all week long.
Mild and dry this week
There were still some lingering cold temperatures early Monday in the Arrowhead. Grand Marais airport dipped to minus 6 degrees. Ely and Crane Lake also dropped below zero before sunrise.

Monday will be warmer with sunshine through high clouds. Highs will be in the 30s for most of the state but parts of southern Minnesota will reach 40.

Monday night will see mild overnight lows in the 20s and teens with partly cloudy skies.

Tuesday will be a touch warmer with plenty of sunshine.

Temperatures will continue to trend upward with our warmest day Wednesday. Highs Wednesday will reach 50 for parts of southwestern Minnesota.

We’ll have plenty of strong late February sunshine this week too and that also means mostly dry conditions with all active weather on both the west and east coasts.
A cool front will slide through Thursday kicking up the wind out of the northwest and dropping temperatures for Friday and Saturday briefly. Highs those days will be mostly in the 20s and 30s.

Forecast temperatures will be 7 to 14 degrees above normal across the state over the next seven days.

High temperatures by early next week could be our warmest yet. Some forecast models push us into the 60s with 50s looking likely at a minimum.
