Brighter Thursday. Some rain and snow showers develop Friday
Thursday will be warmer but still chilly
Most of Minnesota will see sunshine Thursday and slightly warmer temperatures, though it will still feel chilly. A disturbance brings a few rain and snow showers late Friday.
Still cool Thursday, but brighter ahead of a Friday disturbance
Thursday will still be chilly but a little warmer. It will also be brighter for most of the state with lingering clouds in northeast Minnesota.
It will be another cold night Thursday night for most under clear skies.
Friday will be warmer with highs returning into the 40s in southern Minnesota with even some 50 degree readings near the Minnesota/Iowa border.
Clouds increase Friday ahead of the next disturbance that will produce some snow and rain showers in northwest Minnesota by afternoon and across parts of central and northeast Minnesota overnight Friday night.
Some snowfall is possible for the northern half of the state late Friday into Friday night.
The weekend will continue to see temperatures closer to normal with 40s south and 30s north. Another system comes through Sunday night into Monday bringing the potential of more rain and snow showers before temperatures warm up more later next week.
