Investigators are still trying to piece together a motive for the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump.
They’re going through shooter Thomas Crooks’ background and search history to get a fuller picture of the assassination attempt — likely with an eye toward preventing more political violence.
Star Tribune reporter Stephen Montemayor looked into the FBI’s threat assessment process in Minnesota.
