The Minnesota State Fair set its fifth daily attendance record of the year Sunday, bringing 256,015 people through the gates.

That number is about 11,000 more than the previous record for the last Sunday of the fair, which was set in 2019.

This year’s total attendance numbers will likely surpass the total attendance of each of the last two years.

However, more than 370,000 people will need to walk through the gates Monday to beat out the all-time 12-day attendance record of more than 2.1 million.
