Sunday night we’ll start to see fairly widespread thunderstorm development overnight into Monday morning. A break in the action is expected after the morning storms, and any sunshine that follows will help set the stage for a more volatile afternoon outbreak.

By early Monday afternoon, storms will begin to fire along the cold front in western Minnesota, with rapid development expected by mid-afternoon across eastern and southeastern parts of the state.
