Wednesday will be another pleasant spring day. A southerly wind will help push temperatures around 10 degrees above Tuesday’s highs under a mix of clouds and sun.

Temperatures stay milder Wednesday night with mostly cloudy skies and a chance of light rain in northern Minnesota and southeast Minnesota.

We’re between one weather system brushing to our south and another sliding across the north that will bring scattered, light rain showers to the region Wednesday night to Thursday night. The greatest chance for rain in the Twin Cities is Thursday afternoon.

This is the only rain maker currently on the horizon and it will be very modest with up to one-tenth of an inch of rainfall coming to the Twin Cities. The highest amounts are found north where we should still stay close to a half-inch.

The passing system also triggers a cooling trend with a highs ranging from low 50s to mid-60s on Thursday.
