Our warm and sunny Sunday has set the tone for what will repeat for much of the week ahead.
The lack of cloud cover will allow temps to fall into low 40s to 50s across the region Sunday night, but that will still be a few degrees above average this time of year.

Monday will begin with the need for a light jacket, but it'll quickly turn into another shorts-and-t-shirt day with widespread 70s.

Tuesday keeps the warmth coming with the Twin Cities approaching 80.

Even a weak cold front passing Tuesday into Wednesday doesn't do much to cool things down. We'll still manage 70 in the Twin Cities. The cold spot will be near Lake Superior where a breezy east wind keeps temps near 50.

From there, another warming trend kicks in. Friday and the weekend will have us back around 80.

With a dry forecast, take advantage of the opportunity to tackle outdoor projects such as painting. Low relative humidity will mean that we'll be keeping a close eye on fire weather.

Fortunately, the dry stretch is accompanied by relatively light winds overall, so we aren't currently expecting significant fire weather conditions.
