We’ll see another pleasant day Friday with partly cloudy skies, though still cooler-than-normal temperatures. We gradually warm into next week with just isolated rain chances.
Decent Memorial Day weekend; gradual warming next week
We’ll see partly cloudy skies again with some increasing cloud cover Friday afternoon. Afternoon highs will be mostly in the 60s across the state. Those readings are a touch cooler than normal, by 2 to 6 degrees.

Memorial Day weekend looks pleasant. It will remain a little cooler than normal but most of us will remain dry most of the weekend. Highs will be mostly in the 60s, warming to near 70 degrees by Sunday and Monday.

Saturday will be the one day of the holiday weekend with some potential isolated to spotty sprinkles. Any showers that pop up will be brief and light and confined mainly to southwestern and northeastern Minnesota.

The next chance of rain comes Tuesday into Wednesday but it will not be heavy. We’ll see mainly scattered light to moderate showers develop. Rainfall amounts will be less than 1 inch for southern Minnesota.

Temperatures will continue to trend upward next week. We should see highs near or above 80 degrees by the end of the week into next weekend.

Dew points will remain pretty dry, so there won’t be much significant, widespread rainfall over the next seven days until perhaps the end of next weekend when some Gulf of Mexico moisture migrates north again.
