Brighter, warmer Thursday; isolated showers linger
Our slowly moving, stubborn system will exit the region over the next 24 hours. While it’ll have been around for a couple of days, it will not have left a lot of rainfall.
Portions of south-central Minnesota around Mankato have seen nearly one-half inch of rain, but most of us have seen much less. Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport has seen only 0.14 of an inch over two days through 3 p.m. Wednesday.

We’ll continue to have scattered showers Wednesday evening, but those will mostly diminish overnight. Some isolated showers are still possible across the southern half of the state Thursday.
