Lingering haze will give way to clear skies as the evening progresses. Meanwhile, a summer-like warmth will persist through Monday, with temperatures climbing into the 80s and 90s.
Saturday night, low temperatures will dip into the upper 50s, with some areas in northeastern Minnesota seeing temps drop into the mid-40s.

An air-quality alert remains in effect for all of Minnesota until 6 p.m. Monday due to ongoing wildfire smoke.

Filtered, hazy sunshine is expected on Sunday with warmer temperatures in the mid to upper 80s.

Another hot day on Monday with highs soaring into the upper 80s to low 90s.

After our hot, dry stretch, we’ll see a pattern shift with the return of higher dewpoints and the possibility of thunderstorms.
A cold front will move through late Monday, bringing the potential for stronger storms across the state. However, most of the key ingredients for severe weather will remain to our west in the Dakotas.
Look for widespread showers and thunderstorms late Monday into Tuesday, with the potential for 1 to 2 inches of rain.
